The thief went straight for the safe
This makes the second time Austin’s Firegrill has been robbed since it opened. Surveillance video shows the robber came in through a window, went through the kitchen and directly into the office where he broke open the safe and stole cash totaling about $2000.00.
The surveillance video shows the robber to be a white male wearing an oversized blue hooded shirt. The window on the office door was broken out before the safe was attacked.
This is a shame that the business of a man who does many good things for his community has now been robbed twice. We are forced to wonder if this was an ‘inside job’ – performed by an employee or an ex employee, or someone who is close to one due to the direct path that was taken to the safe.
