High energy local band ‘UBL’ has their eye set on a national stage
Unbreakable Blood Line (UBL) has been getting some national exposure for some time, opening for such acts as George Clinton as well as other well known acts. Playing several gigs each month in the South Georgia/North Florida area, the band has decided to take it on the road and has set their eye on the HUGE musical festival that is Bonnaroo.
Each summer tiny Manchester, TN plays host to what Rolling Stone Magazine called “the ultimate over-the-top summer festival” and “one of the 50 greatest moments in rock and roll”. The average attendance of the festival is approximately 100,000 people since the first festival in 2002.
This year the producers of the festival have organized a contest in which fans can vote on their favorite bands to perform. UBL has started a very successful grass roots campaign to win the performance opportunity (which could very well earn this emerging band a record deal) and they are currently in the top 20 of voting.
